Director, Product Marketing

As Director of Product Marketing at TransVoyant, you will lead product marketing strategy, execution, product positioning, collateral development, market awareness and sales enablement.  You will create product and solution messaging and lead its implementation through all internal and external channels of communication. You will collaborate effectively with Product Management, Pre-Sales, Sales and Delivery functions to drive visibility and growth for TransVoyant in the market. This is a global leadership role with responsibility to recognize and adapt strategies and messages for different regions and market verticals.  You will make an immediate impact on the company and our customers by describing and evangelizing the “what” and “so what” from the customers point of view.


  • Own the clear TransVoyant definition and global communication of fact-based “what” and “so what” for all internal and external audiences
  • Moderate the use of buzzwords and produce output that articulates measurable customer financial value
  • Target industry vertical opportunities and initiatives based on a deep understanding of market trends and competitive analysis
  • Develop and communicate customer value propositions and articulate use cases and value
  • Translate business ideas, industry research and customer feedback into product releases –- collaborating with Product Development from conceptualization through launch
  • Develop product launch and marketing ‘bill of material’: Sales presentations, collateral, web content, email templates, case studies, customer ROI models and white papers
  • Identify, participate and speak at conferences, press interviews and industry analyst briefings.  Work directly with our industry analysts
  • Produce sales tools, training and content including customer business value models, videos, presentations, demos, whitepapers, articles, product handouts, pricing metrics and campaigns
  • Conduct and communicate user, market, pricing, and competitive research to better understand and evangelize market trends and apply key learning to new initiatives
  • Own and embed the customer’s voice in all we do



  • 10+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in a SaaS technology environment, with a proven track record of successful software product launches and resulting market traction
  • Exceptional prioritization and project management skills
  • A motivated self-starter with experience in opening markets to new products and technologies
  • Knowledge of B2B Supply Chain and Enterprise Analytics markets/solutions strongly preferred
  • Thought leadership in IoT industry and Big Data analytics is a plus
  • Ability to partner with, and influence teams across the organization
  • Exceptional communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills
  • Strong with both technical and business discussions
  • Experience with sales and marketing and business productivity tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science or related field.  MBA is desired
  • Self-starter and ability to build programs from scratch
  • Positive attitude and willingness to roll-up sleeves and get things done
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing work product quality
  • Ability to prioritize and differentiate what matters from the noise
  • Ability to effectively translate complex concepts into business value
  • Mastery of creating product positioning and messaging
  • Proven success marketing industry-specific enterprise level solutions
  • Experience working with sales to help win new business (presentations, materials, demos)
  • TransVoyant maintains offices in Alexandria, Virginia; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and in Europe.  We are opening new offices in 2018 and 2019.  The geographic location of this position may be flexible
